Sarah’s journey to opening Pretty & Co. was a blend of hard work, education, and the desire to create something of her own within the salon world. Having competed and placed in both Canadian and North American styling awards, travelled with some of the world’s top stylists to Spain, Paris, and Italy, and has had her work published in several magazines, Sarah is an expert. As a wife and a mother, Sarah has worked to create time in her life to make herself feel pretty and she loves giving that gift to her clients.

Julie
Manager/Lead Stylist and Extension Specialist
After working in the salon world for 4 years as a Reception Manager, Julie embraced her love of hair, transitioning into being one of the stylists behind the chair. She studied at Cappa School of Hair Styling and Aesthetics, here in St. Catherines. She then worked with bridal companies and salons throughout the Niagara and Toronto areas for 12 years, creating beautiful hair and makeup looks for bridal parties. Julie has a wide breadth of skills that make transitioning from style to style a breeze. Julie’s work has also been featured on the cover of ‘Wedding Essentials’ magazine and other editorials and catalogues. She is an expert in colouring, extensions, updos, and even men’s classic barbering.
Lyall
Lead Stylist and Great Lengths Extension Specialist
Lyall’s education is extensive. Having studied at both the Aveda Institute Toronto and Vidal Sassoon Toronto, her love of all things beauty drives her to explore the field. She travelled to California to learn from celebrity hairstylist, Chris Appleton and that California inspiration extends into her work. To continue learning from some of the top stylists in North America, she also flew to New York to learn from Jen Atkin, the founder of Ouai Haircare. Lyall loves to share her tips and tricks with clients to help them achieve the hair they have always wanted.


Miranda
Colour Specialist and Salon Stylist
Miranda’s passion for hair and all things beauty started in high school while taking cosmetology classes. She then went on to take the Niagara College hairstyling program, graduating in 2016. She specializes in lived in colour and blondes; she loves creating custom colours to suit every client perfectly all while staying on trend. Miranda also has extensive knowledge with our Kevin Murphy hair care line and loves sharing tips for recreating her signature styles at home. In her spare time you can find her thrifting, enjoying yummy food/ drinks with friends, or cozying up at home watching a corny reality tv show.
Rachel
Salon Stylist
Rachel is a recent graduate of Niagara College’s Hairstyling program. Throughout her high school career, Rachel worked hands-on in the Hairstyling and Aesthetics at her school, along with completing a co-op position at Pretty & Co. Rachel has also participated in fashion shows and other events held by Pretty & Co. She is taking in as much education as possible as she pursues her dreams of becoming a hairstylist!


Ashley
Junior Stylist
Ashley began as an assistant at Pretty & Co. and is now one of our junior stylists! She graduated from Niagara College in 2019 for hairstyling. She has taken Davines colour classes and looks forward to taking more, and expanding her skillset and knowledge! Ashley specializes in blonding and haircuts. Ashley is accepting new clients and would love to do your hair!
Heather
Salon Stylist
Heather graduated from Cappa School of Hairstyling and Aesthetics to pursue her passion working with with the public and applying her skills. She is eager to grow her clientele and hopes to specialize in blonding and lived-in colour services. Heather is very enthusiastic and looks forward to continuing her education through specialized courses, further developing her skills. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, shopping, spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Piper!
