Founder, Owner, Master Stylist
Sarah’s journey to opening Pretty & Co. was a blend of hard work, education, and the desire to create something of her own within the salon world. Having competed and placed in both Canadian and North American styling awards, travelled with some of the world’s top stylists to Spain, Paris, and Italy, and has had her work published in several magazines, Sarah is an expert. As a wife and a mother, Sarah has worked to create time in her life to make herself feel pretty and she loves giving that gift to her clients.
Sarah's favourite things to create:
The hair that you've dreamed of that you can style and maintain at home.
After working in the salon world for 4 years as a Reception Manager, Julie embraced her love of hair, transitioning into being one of the stylists behind the chair. She studied at Cappa School of Hair Styling and Aesthetics, here in St. Catherines. She then worked with bridal companies and salons throughout the Niagara and Toronto areas for 12 years, creating beautiful hair and makeup looks for bridal parties. Julie has a wide breadth of skills that make transitioning from style to style a breeze. Julie’s work has also been featured on the cover of ‘Wedding Essentials’ magazine and other editorials and catalogues. She is an expert in colouring, extensions, updos, and even men’s classic barbering.
Lyall’s education is extensive. Having studied at both the Aveda Institute Toronto and Vidal Sassoon Toronto, her love of all things beauty drives her to explore the field. She travelled to California to learn from celebrity hairstylist, Chris Appleton and that California inspiration extends into her work. To continue learning from some of the top stylists in North America, she also flew to New York to learn from Jen Atkin, the founder of Ouai Haircare. Lyall loves to share her tips and tricks with clients to help them achieve the hair they have always wanted.
